Melissa has always been a creative person. Her love of art and her passion for science led to her choosing dentistry. A perfect combination of both.

Melissa believes in continuous education and up-skilling, learning about the latest technologies and dental research by taking various continuing education courses to further her knowledge. She is currently working toward completing a mini-residency in Orthodontics through renowned Orthodontic specialist, Dr Derek Mahony.

For Melissa, dentistry is about improving someone else’s quality of life, whether by fixing back teeth to enable chewing or by improving confidence by creating a beautiful smile. Seeing someone excited about their teeth inspires Melissa as well. Her patients love her enthusiasm and gentle approach.

Fun fact – Melissa is completely ambidextrous! This means she is able to use both hands equally, which makes performing dental procedures much easier as she can switch hands when necessary!

When she is not in her clinic beautifying and correcting smiles, Melissa loves the outdoors and is an avid snowboarder.
