At McIntosh Dental, we believe that a confident smile can open doors, inspire ambition,and transform lives. That’s why, for the past eight years, the McIntosh Dental Orthodontic Scholarship has helped outstanding young people across West Auckland access the orthodontic care they deserve.
Each year, two deserving students are awarded up to $10,000 towards orthodontic treatment at McIntosh Dental, Fraser Dental or Titirangi Village Dental. The scholarship recognises local students who demonstrate excellence in academics, community involvement, leadership and personal growth.
We are incredibly proud to introduce our 2025 Orthodontic Scholarship winners; Danielle David and Kristy Reddy, two exceptional young women whose hard work embody what this scholarship stands for.
Meet Danielle David
Danielle’s academic achievements speak volumes about her determination and drive to succeed. Excelling across all areas of study, particularly in science and mathematics, Danielle has consistently gone above and beyond her year level, undertaking advanced courses in Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Calculus while maintaining an outstanding academic record.
Danielle’s success is a testament to her focus, intellect, and commitment to achieving her goals.
Beyond her academic achievements, Danielle’s dedication and positive attitude make her a shining example for her peers. We are thrilled to support her on her orthodontic journey and can’t wait to see her confidence continue to grow as her new smile takes shape.
Meet Kristy Reddy
Kristy’s nomination stood out for her inspiring mix of leadership, community involvement and personal perseverance. Determined to make a difference both at school and in her community, Kristy has shown leadership through volunteering, performing for residents at a local nursing home, and helping to coordinate her school’s open day.
Her kindness and dedication to inclusivity have made her a role model among her peers. Kristy also has big goals; she’s aiming to become a prefect next year and believes that having a confident smile will help her inspire others.
We’re honoured to help her achieve the healthy, confident smile she deserves.
