Your Consultation Experience
When you arrive at Fraser Dental you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly Patient Care Coordinators, who will check you in and ask you to fill in a brief new patient form. Next you’ll be taken through to one of our treatment rooms, where an experienced Dental Assistant will have a chat with you about your dental and medical history and any concerns you have about your teeth.
We’re a non-judgmental practice (there’s not much we haven’t seen or heard!) with compassionate, well-trained staff who really listen to you. We want you to feel comfortable in answering questions honestly and openly.
Your notes will be handed on to your Dentist, who’ll then have a gentle look through your mouth, and take x-rays and photos where required. Your Dentist will explain all of your options clearly, and work with you to create a personalised treatment plan. Our care for you doesn’t end with your procedure. It’s important to us that our patients are comfortable and happy post-treatment, so if you have having a more involved procedure we’ll give you a call the next day to check in and see how you’re going. We’ll also set up a post-treatment appointment to make sure everything is working as it should and that you’re happy with the results.
We take an active maintenance approach to care, which means we’ll schedule ongoing check-ups with you at either six or 12 month intervals, depending on your stage of life, lifestyle, and condition of your teeth.
